The inevitable slew of post-Electric Picnic gig announcements has begun this morning with a couple of Irish bands. Stay tuned as we'll likely have more throughout the day as they are announced.

The Frames will follow their Electric Picnic show celebrating their 20th anniversary with a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on December 12th. Tickets priced €35 go on sale later this week.

Bangor boys Two Door Cinema Club will play a short Irish tour in December, taking in belfast's Mandela Hall on December 7th (£16), Dublin's Tripod on December 8th (€18.50-€21.50) and the Black Box in Galway on December 9th (€21.00). Galway tickets are already on sale while Dublin tickets go on sale on Wednesday September 8th with Belfast to follow shortly.

Conor O'Brien and Villagers will also be playing a number of Irish shows in the run up to Christmas. Catch them at the Savoy, Cork on December 15th (€18.45), the Black Box in Galway on Decemebr 18th (€21.00), and Dublin's Vicar St. on December 21st (€25). **Updated** Support will come from top Irish bands  Not Squares and The Cast Of Cheers for the duration of the tour. Tickets are on sale now from ticketmaster and usual outlets, while tickets for the following dates are available from the venues.

Having just released her second album 'Mayhem' on Friday, Imelda May has announced that she will play the Olympia Theatre on December 15th. Tickets priced from €32.50 and go on sale this Friday September 10th at 9am. She also announced on Friday's Late Late Show that she'll be playing the same venue as part of Arthur's Day on September 23rd as well as unknown venues in Galway and Cork earlier that same day.

Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip are set to play at the Workman's Club in Dublin on November 5th (€18.50) and Cork's Cyprus Avenue on November 6th (€20.50). Tickets on sale now.

James Murphy told Phantom that LCD Soundsystem would be returning to Dublin, having been forced to cancel their scheduled date in April because of volcanic ash. Date, venue and price yet to be revealed.

 And the biggest one of the day; Underworld will play the RDS on November 27th. Tickets priced €39.50 go on sale this Friday September 10th at 9am.
