Jazz group Portico Quartet will make a trip to Ireland next month.
You may have heard of the Londoners recently - their debut album 'Knee-Deep In the North Sea' was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Music Prize, eventually being beaten, of course, by Elbow's 'The Seldom Seen Kid'.
Nonetheless, they'll play Whelan's on December 11th. Ticket price/details still TBC.
