Halsey has announced that she is expecting her first child with a very sweet post on Instagram.

The 26-year-old star, whose most recent album 'Manic' was released last year, made the announcement to her 23 million fans on the social media platform with a photoshoot showing off her growing bump.

She also tagged her partner, screenwriter Alev Aydin, in the picture. He shared the news on his own Instagram Stories, saying "Heart so full, I love you, sweetness" - to which Halsey replied ""I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!"

Halsey - whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane - has been open with her body-related struggles in the past, previously telling The Guardian that had suffered a miscarriage in the past. She suffers from endemetriosis - a condition that can affect fertility in some women.

It looks like there's a happy ending in sight this time, though. Congrats!
