Polly Jean Harvey has announced the release of a collaborative album with accomplished producer and composer John Parish. A Woman A Man Walked By will be the second collaboration between the two after 1996's Dance Hall At Louse Point, with Parish having aslo co-produced To Bring You My Love (1995) and also Harvey's most recent release White Chalk (2007). Over the course of his career the English composer has worked with the likes of Tracy Chapman, Eels and Giant Sand.
A Woman A Man Walked By was recorded in Bristol and Dorset, and mixed by John Flood. The first single to be taken from it will be Black Hearted Love, which is due for release on physical format April 3rd, available in 7" CD and digital (March 2nd).
