Lady Gaga is no stranger to commemorating an occasion or paying tribute to someone with a bit of ink.
In the past, the New Yorker has had tattoos done to honour her fans and more recently, David Bowie.
Now, she's gone one step further and got a buddy tattoo with her dad to honour her late aunt Joanne, who died at the age of 19 due to complications from lupus, and whom her new album (and her dad's NYC restaurant) is named for.
She posted the pic to Instagram, saying 'Got Joanne tattooed on my arm in her actual signature. My dad got one too. With an angel on his shoulder'.
