Bruce Springsteen rolled into town last night for the first of two sold-out performances at the RDS in Dublin. Quick scans through Twitter feeds and Facebook reveal terms like 'best gig ever' and 'Bruce, unbelievable!' being bandied about.

Our own Elaine Buckley, a committed fan of The Boss, said that anyone going to tonight's second performance is in for "an absolute treat - 3.5 hours of pure unadulterated rockin' brilliance."

A slew of famous faces were spotted in the crowd including Steven Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis, director and star of the upcoming Abraham Lincoln biopic.

Tonight's second performance will kick off at 7pm sharp. There will be no support act. Gates will be open from 5pm.
