You don't hear of many fairytale stories in Celebville these days, but Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal's is one of them.
The indie musician and the Irish actor are reportedly engaged after over two years of dating.
Mescal first mentioned Bridgers in an interview following the success of 'Normal People', where he said that he was a big admirer of her album 'Stranger in the Alps'. In response, the musician referred to Mescal as "that cute boy" in an interview, saying that she “got a little pitter-patter in my heart" when she saw that he had followed her on Instagram. He later went on to star in the music video for her song 'Savior Complex'.
Two years later, the smitten couple are set to tie the knot after Mescal reportedly confirmed their engagement in a new interview with The Guardian to promote his new film 'Aftersun'.
