Pharrell Williams has had a pretty interesting career to date, from his breakthrough as one half of production duo The Neptunes, to fronting N*E*R*D* and becoming a global star with songs like 'Happy' - not to mention his own role as producer on several films, including 'Hidden Figures'.

Now, his own story will be told on the big screen, as his early life growing up in Virginia Beach is acting as inspiration for a 'Romeo & Juliet-style' musical film - presumably off the back of La La Land's huge success.

It's called 'Atlantis' and will be directed by Broadway director Michael Mayer, the man behind the Green Day musical 'American Idiot', while the writer of the forthcoming Toy Story 4, Martin Hynes, will write the script.

He must be 'Happy' about that. (Sorry.)
