Pete Doherty has escaped another set of charges for a robbery in Germany earlier this year to which he was linked after police ruled he was too drunk to have committed the crime. Doherty admitted smashing the window of a shop in Regensburg, Germany, but denied stealing a guitar and records, as was the accusation of the shop owner.

Doherty was released from prison earlier this summer following a charge of cocaine possession and would have faced five years in jail had he been convicted of the incident.
