Fresh off the Heineken Green Spheres stage at Oxegen, Peter Doherty has announced a three date Irish visit on his upcoming tour this October on when the former Libertines Frontman will play Madela Hall, Belfast on 13th October, The Academy in Dublin on the 14th and Roisin Dubh, Galway on the 15th.
Peter Doherty released his debut solo album Grace/Wastelands this Spring. Those who follow or attempt to keep up with the prolific flood of music that overflows from Peter’s imagination might recognise some of the songs on the album from demos he's previously released or from bootlegs of live shows where he’s performed them. The rest, however, were given life over the past year as Pete split his time between his homes in Wiltshire and Paris, and finally recorded for posterity in Olympic Studios in London enlisting the help of The Smiths and Blur producer Stephen Street.
