Despite their busy schedule promoting their new album, '21st Century Breakdown', Green Day are taking the time to collaborate with Tennessee pop-rock sensations Paramore on their forthcoming third album. They are also working with My Chemical Romance producer Rob Cavallo, who they first worked with on their song 'Decode' which they contributed to the 'Twilight' Soundtrack.

The group are currently recording the as yet untitled album in Malibu, and though the tracklist has not been finalised, possible single 'Ignorance,' and 'Playing' as well as working titles 'Brick By Boring Brick' and 'Careful' are all rumoured for inclusion.

Frontlady Hayley Williams spoke to NME.com about the project:
"It's almost too good… Almost like I'm waiting on something bad to happen because it's been so easy. We were lucky because the position that we’re in a lot of people would have taken advantage of the poppier side of our band. If anything, Rob took advantage of the heavier side of our band, which is really cool."

Paramore are also supporting No Doubt on their highly awaited reunion tour in the U.S. this summer, while Green Day are streaming '21st Century Breakdown' in its entirety on We7 in the week running up to its release this Friday May 15th.
