Palma Violets have made a big impression since their first high-profile show at Dingle's Other Voices in December 2012. Occupying the middle of a venn diagram between Arctic Monkeys and The Drums, Palma Violets were named by NME as the 'Best New Band' last year and their debut album '180' - named after their recording studio - hit the #11 spot in the UK. Not bad for a garage rock band in the often pop-dominated music charts.

You'll have your chance to catch them live when, between 6th and 11th April, the lads will take in dates in Limerick, Belfast, Dublin, Galway and Cork. Having witnessed a show of theirs in the past, let me tell you that they leave it all out there on the stage. And it will get loud.

Catch Palma Violets at:

06 APRIL: DOLAN’S LIMERICK
07 APRIL: VOODOO BELFAST
08 APRIL: WORKMAN’S CLUB DUBLIN
09 APRIL: ROISIN DUBH GALWAY
11 APRIL: CYPRESS AVENUE CORK

Tickets for The Workman’s Club are priced €14.50 inclusive of booking fee.
