Devon pop rockers The Rumble Strips, best known for the tune Girls and Boys in Love, are collaborating with Canadian string genius Owen Pallett on their as yet untitled forthcoming album.

Pallett, the man behind Final Fantasy and string arranger for the likes of Arcade Fire and The Last Shadow Puppets, has called the album "infectious" and compared it to The La's, reports NME.

The album is being produced by Mark Ronson, and as everything Pallett touches is gold we have high hopes for this one.
