Tickets for this year's Other Voices series of gigs at St. James' Church in Dingle will go on sale this weekend. The gigs, which will be recorded for the RTE TV series, take place between Saturday December 4th and Tuesday December 7th. Tickets priced €35 will go on sale in Dingle on Saturday November 20th at 9am and on www.tickets.ie on Monday November 22nd at 9am. Customers can purchase a maximum of two tickets for any one performance, and for only two shows altogether.
This year's Other Voices will see live performances from The National, Marina and The Diamonds, Smoke Fairies, Cathy Davey, And So I Watch You From Afar, The Minutes and O Emperor. Richard Hawley will be curating one particular night and has invite former Pulp bandmate Jarvis Cocker, the wonderful Laura Marling and one yet to be announced "very special guest" to play for the occasion. More names are still to be announced over the next few weeks.
Like every year, the daily line ups will not be revealed until after the on-sale dates and the very limited number of tickets are likely to go fast.
