On Friday the 21st of March, and in celebration of 105 years of Futurism, the combined talents of Rob McGlade and Gordon Lee (Fathers of Western Thought), Luque Suibne and Andy Murray (The Hidden Work), and Andrew Doyle (Knickers and a Pad) will come together in tribute to an underrated musical movement.

Gordon Lee and Rob McGlade, the duo behind Fathers of Western Thought, partnered up in August 2010 with an aim to create exploratory and experimental musical projects, receiving acclaim for their achievements. Notably, in 2011, the pair wrote, recorded and uploaded a song a day for the entire year; a rare feat and among the many great songs, 'Dublin' was chosen by The British Council/Dublin City Council as the soundtrack to contemporary Dublin in their OPENCities competition.

In 2013, supported by Senator David Norris & The James Joyce Centre, they completed 'Re:Joyce - A Modern Musical Interpretation of James Joyce's Four Major Works' which culminated in a sold out performance of Ulysses in The New Theatre on Bloomsday 2013.

Earplugs will be supplied (and are recommended!) and the event is BYOB.
