If you were wondering whether it'd be worth a trip to Slane to catch Oasis when they play there on June 20th this year, well, it looks like it would be.
The announcement of support acts for the day's festivities is quite impressive, mostly because of the presence of The Prodigy. The Prodigy? Supporting Oasis? I can already see the swarms of Prodigy fans piling out of the castle grounds without bothering to wait for the Mancunian brothers and their posse.
As well as The Prodigy and the previously announced Kasabian, Glaswegian swagger rockers Glasvegas (now that's more like Oasis support) and our own The Blizzards will join Oasis on the stage at Slane Castle.
Tickets are priced €76.50 plus booking fee. Gates open at 3pm.
