According to Billboard.com, Simon Fuller, the man behind American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance is planning to make a new TV show out of the "Now, That's What I Call Music" brand.

Fuller already owns the exclusive global rights to negotiate a TV deal, and plans to take the brand of hit single compilations and "establish it as a TV show with the same elements." By the sounds of things it will be a sort of music magazine show, incorporating concert and in-studio performances by artists from the compilations, interviews, videos, charts and a segment on new up and coming talent. The show will also have a strong online presence, as a section of the show may include videos uploaded by viewers themselves.

As the show is still in its early stages, it remains as yet unnamed, though it is expected that the title will incorporate the "Now" brand in some form. Though it hasn't been decided which network will air the show, Fox are a clear frontrunner due to their strong relationship with Fuller's Entertainment 19 company.
