Now that we've learned that the James Blunt retirement rumours proved to be utterly false we can start getting used to the fact the that 'You're Beautiful' crooner is still very much part of our lives. The best way to come to terms with this situation? You can go see the man himself perform his unique brand of saccharine love songs in The O2 on November 20th next.

Perhaps we're being a little hard on the guy here with our tone here, though. We understand that Mr Blunt is genuinely a nice guy and it looked like he was becoming something of an easy figure to poke fun at, after some of the more schmaltzy tunes in his discography achieved success. You can make your own mind up in The O2 next November, where you'll have to shell out €44.05 for tickets when they go on sale at 9am on Friday 9th May.
