The nominations for the NME Awards have been revealed. Arctic Monkeys have been nominated for seven gongs, 'Best British Band' among them. Competing with Alex Turner and co. for the honour will be Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Horrors and Muse.

Kasabian, Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey and Muse are nominated for three awards each.
