Electronic artist Nicolas Jaar has been added to the already packed Liss Ard line-up. Jaar will perform at the festival on Saturday 4th August, in what is a rare live appearance on Irish soil. At the age of 22, Jaar makes music beyond his years and backs this up with a live show along with his band which entails live improvisation and stunning musicianship rarely seen in the world of electronic music.
Jaar can't be regarded as your average 22 year-old New York college student. An unconventional taste-maker, Jaar has already enjoyed a chain of groundbreaking singles under likes of Wolf + Lamb and his debut album ‘Space is Only Noise’ has gathered staggering acclaim from The Guardian (“One feels drawn into a fully formed, self-contained world of his making”) to Rolling Stone magazine.
