Multi-platinum UK singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner has exclusively revealed Irish tour dates for 2014 including a headline performance at The Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Thursday, 6 February.

Faulkner will play Dublin's Olympia on 6th February 2014, before travelling to the Cork Opera House on the 7th. The tour will wind up with shows at Galway's Seapoint on the 8th February before its final night in the Limelight in Belfast on Sunday 6th February.

Faulkner is set to release his new album Studio Zoo through on August 26. Newton made history while producing the album as he live-streamed the entire recording process 24/7 for 5 weeks from his home studio. Fans could log in online to follow every detail of the ups, downs, dramas and laughs including guest appearances from Ted Dwayne (Mumford & Sons) and X Factor’s Janet Devlin.

At the start of the project, Newton announced: "I am as excited as I am terrified by the prospect of having a house full of cameras film me while trying to record an album. The entire recording process will be streamed live and nothing has been recorded in advance - apart from some particularly good hand claps recorded in Paris. The album will be made before your very eyes, no tricks, no producer and no engineer, just me, a guitar and a few surprise guests".

Tickets for the Olympia priced €26 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale this Friday, 23 August.
