It may not have been a winning night for Hozier - who lost out on the 'Song of the Year' Grammy to Sam Smith - but the Bray man hugely impressed with his performance of Take Me to Church, which was followed by a cover of 'I Put a Spell on You' (the Screamin' Jay Hawkins song made famous by Nina Simone) with Annie Lennox.

Sia performed 'Chandelier' with her back turned to the audience. Actress Kirsten Wiig and child dance prodigy Maddie Ziegler danced - and it was introduced by Shia LaBeouf reciting a poem. Right, so.
Tom Jones and Jessie J performed the Righteous Brothers' tune 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling'. Sorry, neither this incredible song nor Tom Jones is going to make us like Jessie J.
Ed Sheeran & ELO performed 'Mr. Blue Sky'. OK, so at least we got one prediction right. (Warning: contains footage of Taylor Swift 'dancing' in the audience - because that's her 'thing' at awards shows now, y'see. She so ker-aaaazy.)
Oh yes, and Beyoncé went full-on gospel diva with performances of 'Take My Hand' and 'Precious Lord'.
There was no escaping Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' at the Grammys - it won him several awards and he performed the song with Mary J. Blige on the night. What we want to know is, why wasn't he paired with ELO's Jeff Lynne - considering that it has now been confirmed that the latter essentially co-wrote elements of the song?!
Then there was the odd coupling of Beck and Coldplay's Chris Martin for a rather unexpectedly lovely version of the Beck song 'Heart is a Drum'.
