Well, the Ivor Novello awards are taking place in London as I type but news has already surfaced that Villagers have taken home the gong for Best Song. Meanwhile Plan B and Tinie Tempah have also picked up awards.

Villagers' 'Becoming A Jackal' beat off competition from the brilliant Everything Everything and their song 'MY KZ UR BF' as well as Foals' 'Spanish Sahara' to win the prize for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

Meanwhile, Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out' picked up Best Contemporary Song before the rapper presented his hero Dizzee Rascal with the Inspiration Award, and Plan B won the award for Most Performed Work for 'She Said'.

The awards are still taking place in London, but we'll have a full list of winners soon. You can view all the nominations here.
