Just as we suspected, The Rolling Stones will play Croke Park this May, after posters teasing the announcement popped up around Dublin over the weekend.

The iconic band will bring their 'No Filter' tour to the stadium on May 17th, making them the fourth gig to take place at Croke Park this summer and putting to rest speculation about who might play the 'extra' gig.

Taylor Swift will play two dates on June 15th and 16th, while Michael Buble will play on July 7th.

Mick Jagger said: ‘‘This part of the ‘No Filter’ tour is really special for the Stones. We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. Its always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford & The London Stadium.’’

You'll have a bit of a wait until you get your hands on tickets, though; they're not on sale until Friday, March 23rd.

Ticket prices, meanwhile, will range from €71 to €181.
