The Arctic Monkeys are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their third album The follow up to 2007's "Favourite Worst Nightmare", produced by James Ford, is now at mixing stage. Drummer Matt Helders has said that it's now just a matter of putting the finishing touches on it. "We haven't picked titles or anything… It's just a case of tying it up now, picking what order everything's in."

Frontman Alex Turner told NME.com that the album was almost ruined when his bag was robbed last year, including his notebook with all his new lyrics. Apparently the experience forced Turner to come up with fresh ideas.
"I went the morning after and brought a couple of Moleskines and sat around for a couple of hours trying to remember it all. But I found the whole process made me write more things, complete things that I wouldn't have otherwise."

The Sheffield rockers have decided to give fans a sneak peak at some new material, by uploading a video of them recording a new song ontoYouTube. It also shows off their celebrity pals by showing P.Diddy giving Helders the guided tour of his home. As the pair are mutual fans, Puffy described their relationship as a bromance. Check it out below:
