The follow up to White Lies hit debut 'To Lose My Life' will be released early in 2011, the band announced yesterday.
The 10-track album will be called 'Ritual' and was produced by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails) at the Assault & Battery studios in London, It is due for release through Fiction Records on Friday 14th January 2011, with its lead single 'Bigger than Us' hitting shelves on New Year's Eye, December 31st.
As well as being released on CD, digital and 12”180gm vinyl, a special limited edition 7” box set will be released featuring five 7”s of the album tracks, a 7” featuring an exclusive track, a bonus CD of remixes, signed artwork and an MP3 of all the featured audio.
The last 12 months have seen White Lies play stadium and arena shows as main support to Coldplay, Kings of Leon and Muse. A UK and Ireland tour is on the cards for 2011, so expect gig announcements very soon.
