With Jack White busy with his new band Dead Weather with The Kills' Alison Mosshart, and with his Third Man Record label, it's not at all surprising that his Raconteur bandmate Brendan Benson has also decided to take some time away from the rock supergroup to return to his solo career.
Having made two albums with The Raconteurs since his last solo effort, "The Alternative to Love" in 2005, Benson is now ready to release his fourth solo album, entitled "My Old, Familiar Friend" on August 24th.
