Guy Garvey, frontman of Mercury Prize Winning band Elbow, has assembled a new compilation CD, including some of his favourite songs and artists that have influenced him. Of the 23 tracks on the compilation, there's a lot of old blues and soul artists on it, some quite obscure, and some numbers which he has played regularly on his BBC 6 Music radio show 'Guys Garvey's Finest Hour'.
'The Elbow Variations' is due for release on September 14th. The tracklist is as follows:
