Neil Young is to record two new albums with his long-time backing band Crazy Horse in what will be their first collaboration since 1996's Broken Arrow, although 2003's Greendale did feature a selection of Crazy Horse members. The singer made the announcement at the Slamdance Film Festival in Utah. The news has since been confirmed to Rolling Stone.

Crazy Horse and Neil Young have worked together since 1969.
