New York rapper Necro is to play Dublin later this year.
Born Ron Braunstein, Necro is notorious for his very explicit lyrical content, inventing the genre 'death rap' to describe his style. He often incorporates elements of metal into his music, and has played with the likes of Napalm Death and Sepultura in the past.
His 2007 album 'The Sexorcist' contains song titles such as 'Piss', 'Whore', and 'I Remain Stiff'. And they're the more lighthearted ones.
The charming fella will play The Button Factory on October 3rd. Tickets, €17, are on sale soon.
