Last week R&B star Ne-Yo cancelled upcoming dates in the UK this week, with a statement from his representatives explaining "With work on his fifth studio album going so well the American singer/songwriter could not interrupt the creative process."

Now, the singer has also cancelled his Dublin date at The O2 which was set to take place this Sunday February 20th. The Dublin date is one of four shows to be cancelled due to album commitments, alongside gigs in Glasgow, Liverpool and Newcastle. What's odd, though, is that he's still taking time away from his studio to play shows in Manchester, London and Birmingham next week ahead of the cancelled Newcastle date.

The O2 show will be rescheduled for a new date to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets will remain valid for the new dates and refunds are available from point of purchase.
