The legendary Nat King Cole, is being resurrected by his soul singer daughter Natalie Cole forty-four years after his death from lung cancer in 1965.

58 year old Natalie has reworked a version of Cole's Straighten Up and Fly Right for duet with producer and Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am for a new album celebrating the life of the iconic jazz singer and pianist. The album, entitled Re:Generations, also features The Roots, Nas and Damian and Stephen Marley.

Natalie Cole suffers with Hepatitis C and kidney problems and is currently awaiting test results to see if her son is a kidney donor match. She was delighted with the mix Will.i.am put on the song and said that her Dad "would get quite the kick from this."
