Looks like the lads over at Oxegen are pulling out all the stops for this year's line up. Following on from announcements that Blur, Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol were to headline the festival with Bloc Party, The Script and Katy Perry also playing, they have just announced ten more acts for Punchestown next July 10th-12th.

As reported yesterday by The Irish Times, Pete Doherty has been added to the line up. Joining him will be the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Elbow, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, White Lies, Fight Like Apes, Razorlight, Pendulum, Jason Mraz and The Ting Tings.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs make a particularly exciting edition to this year's bill, having thoroughly impressed at Electric Picnic a couple of years back. The announcement comes ahead of the release of their forthcoming album "It's Blitz!" in April, so by July we should all know the words.

Tickets will be available by pre-sale to registered Oxegen.ie users from Wednesday 25th of February at 8am and go on general release on  general release on Friday March 6th at 8am
