With prospects of an R.E.M. reunion as remote as they ever were, former frontman Michael Stipe has been collaborating with other musicians on his solo material.

Stipe released his first solo song last year and followed it up with 'Drive to the Ocean' earlier this year.

Now, he has teamed up with the Big Red Machine collective - which was founded by Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner from The National) - on another new track.

It's called 'No Time for Love Like Now' and was co-written and produced by Dessner, while Justin Vernon of Bon Iver is on electric guitar. The song was originally debuted on Stephen Colbert's show in April, but is officially released today.
