The rumour mill is rife with reports today that M.I.A. has played her last ever gig.
The Sri Lankan-British hip-hop/crossover singer cancelled her European tour last week (including her Irish date), saying that she wanted to spend time chilling out and 'gardening'.
However, Ms. Arulpragasm played the Bonnaroo Festival in the US at the weekend, and reportedly made reference to the set being her 'last' gig, before closing with the words: "Thanks for coming to my last gig."
No confirmation has yet been given on the intended meaning of her statements.
