As memoirs go, you've got to imagine that Mariah Carey's is going to have some truly choice moments.

In fact, if the press release for the book release is anything to go by, it's going to be... unique in its approach. Aptly titled 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey', the memoir will "finally tell the unfiltered story of her life in a way only she could."

Right so.

The press release describes the memoir as "an improbable and inspiring journey of survival and resilience as she struggles through complex issues of race, identity, class, childhood, and family trauma during her meteoric rise to music superstardom." Not only that, but the memoir will also dive into Carey's "battles with gender and power dynamics, emotional abuse, public embarrassments, personal failures, and phenomenal victories."

Told through words and song lyrics, 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey' is described as "an honest, unique, and vivid portrait of her extraordinary life."

You've got to imagine that the duet with Westlife features in it somehow, if not a chapter then at least a paragraph or two on the painfully awkward music video that sprung from it. Not only that, but the infamous New Year's Eve incident also has to got to feature in there as well.

The book is expected to hit shelves on September 29th, with pre-orders available now.
