London Grammar, Laura Marling, Steve Mason and Foals are among the favourites to win the Mercury Music Prize after Paddy Power released their odds today.

The official shortlist will be unveiled by Lauren Laverne from the Hospital Club in London at 5.30pm on September 11th but, ahead of that, Paddy Power have installed London Grammar as the favourites to take home the gong when the winner is announced at London's Roundhouse on October 30th.

Alt-J won last year's honour for their outstanding debut effort An Awesome Wave.
