If you were scrolling through your social media apps last night or this morning, it may have seemed like everyone you know was at Lizzo's Irish debut gig.
Which is ironic, considering how tickets for the Texan hip-hop/pop queen at Dublin's Olympia Theatre were like gold dust. Judging by the number of disappointed people who missed out when they went on sale, she could have easily played the 3Arena.
Hell, even Leo Varadkar was there. Yes, the Taoiseach was at a Lizzo gig.
However, her gig at the Olympia seemed to go down very well, as the below reactions will demonstrate.
'Lizzo' is still trending on Irish Twitter at time of writing, so that'll tell you all you need to know (alongside the mural that popped up in Dublin last week. She clearly has an avid Irish fanbase.)
We're not jealous, really...
She came, we saw, she conquered!@lizzo pic.twitter.com/gExfQQWIlr

Lizzo playing the tin whistle and later singing "somebody come get this man" and pointing at Leo Varadkar... She really said fuck the brits AND Fine Gael

Watching the whole crowd at Lizzo turn in unison and point towards Leo while singing ‘somebody come get this man’ is probably the closest I’ll ever get to a religious experience.
