Now that Kate Bush is performing live for the first time in almost thirty years, you'd be forgiven for thinking there's some reason behind it. Is she low on cash? Have the royalty checks dried up? It's highly unlikely it's either of those things as Bush was an immensely successful artist and is still hugely popular and influential on musicians to this day. With tickets for her sold-out shows now selling for upwards of €1,000 on eBay, it's testament that people still love her music. Here's her best songs to date...

5. BABOOSHKA

Right, well, there's the video which is, well... Look at it for yourself. And it's a great song as well. So there's that.

4. DON'T GIVE UP (feat. Peter Gabriel)

Is it a Peter Gabriel song or a Kate Bush song? Who knows. We think it's a Kate Bush song. Also, could you get any more 80's with that hair, Peter Gabriel? Jesus, like.

3. THIS WOMAN'S WORK

Trivia time! The guy in the video is Captain Darling from Blackadder Goes Forth. Isn't that right, Darling? Yessir.

2. RUNNING UP THAT HILL

It was very well covered by Placebo, but the original stands on its own right as a fantastic electropop song with a fantastic chorus. Goldfrapp, Roisin Murphy and a thousand other female artists copied Bush's blueprint laid down in this track.

1. WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Just to put this in perspective, Kate Bush wrote this song and got it into Top 10, reaching No.1 in the charts before her twentieth birthday. Not only that, she was the first woman to reach No.1 with a self-written song. Not bad. Not bad at all.
