Here's one to shake the cobwebs out. Zorch hail from the blue dot in the red state known as Austin, Texas and will shortly release their debut full length record - Zzoorrcchh. The culmination of five years' work, Zorch's music is an amalgamation of two hyperactively creative minds - Zac Traeger and Shmu.

The duo first met when studying music in Boston sometime in 2008 and soon began spending hours at a time in the studio together crafting new sounds, some of which are intact on the upcoming album.

"Every song is different, there are no rules," Shmu explains. "We are very involved in not just writing parts for our own instruments but writing for each other's instruments as well. It's a boundary-less approach." Likewise, Zac elaborates, "the whole process was very time consuming and intense, there are lots of things on this record that I'm sure only .01% of the world will notice, but Sam and I would get into very heated debates about."

Zzoorrcchh will be available everywhere on CD, LP and download via Sargent House on July 23rd, 2013.
