Back in November we reported a new album from the My Bloody Valentine was in the making and here it is just 22 long years since their 1991 album 'Loveless'. The highly anticipated album from My Bloody Valentine has been uploaded onto the band's YouTube channel to stream.

The new album 'mbv' came available for download midnight yesterday before it was released on YouTube. Just last week the bands lead singer Kevin Shields also confirmed that a London show was imminent. Speaking about the album Shields said 'I think with this record, people who like us will immediately connect with something. Based on the very, very few people who've heard stuff - some engineers, the band, and that's about it - some people think it's stranger than 'Loveless'. I don't. I feel like it really frees us up, and in the bigger picture it's 100 per cent necessary.'

So what do you think, was it worth the wait? Check it out below...
