David Guetta, one of the biggest names on the global pop stage, wants to work with Irish duo Heathers. The French DJ has approached Heathers' management to enquire if the MacNamara sisters would be interested in writing for his forthcoming album, which is rumoured to have a more indie feeling to it.

Guetta, who just last weekend played a sold-out show in Dublin's Marlay Park, first became interested in working with Ellie and Louise after hearing 'Forget Me Knots', the first single from their upcoming second album Kingdom.

Louise MacNamara said of the news: "Our manager texted me, 'Do you want to write a song for David Guetta'. I thought he was joking. Apparently his new album has a more indie feel."

We spoke to Heathers on Thursday of last week and below is what they had to say of the Guetta partnership.
