This is exactly what has happened to Irish chart-toppers Kodaline, whose hit tune 'All I Want' has just been covered by none other than Goulding. The tune, which Goulding recorded a few months ago, was uploaded to her Soundcloud page along with a teasing hint that she'll have a rake of brand new material very soon.
This isn't the first time that Ellie Goulding has released some impromptu covers, having previously uploaded versions of songs by Elton John, Active Child and Alt-J.
