Ed Sheeran has unleashed his massively anticipated new tune 'Sing', debuting it on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio show yesterday evening.

The song was produced by (guess who) Pharrell Williams, who has maintained Sheeran's typically acoustic ballad-y sound and infused it with a funky R&B jam - a move undoubtedly aimed at further showcasing Sheeran's smooth vocals to the huge U.S. market who are already enamoured with him ever since 'The A Team' was released across the Atlantic.

'Sing' is the first single from Sheeran's upcoming second record 'x' and it will be released in Ireland as part of an EP in a month.

Is anyone else getting a bang of early Justin Timberlake from this?
