Glastonbury headliners Kasabian have released their latest effort 'Eez-eh' after it made its debut on the airwaves on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio show last night.

The tune is the lead single from the band's upcoming 48:13 release, which was produced by guitarist Sergio Pizzorno who graduates to the role having co-produced the band's 2011 release Velociraptor!

What can we expect from the album? Pizzorno said in a statment: "I felt that we had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding."

Vocalist Tom Meighan added: "Less is more, you know? It's direct. It is what it is. Just listen to it. We've had the confidence to lay ourselves bare. Serge has stripped it right back. It's unbelievable."

You'll have your chance to witness the new tines in person when Kasabian play a brief four-date Irish tour this summer.
