Not everyone is a One Direction fan, it seems. Liam Payne was in a taxi on his way to a football match in London on Monday evening when the cab driver switched off the band's hit cover of Blondie's 'One Way or Another', leaving the singer red faced.

Payne's friend tweeted: "In a taxi with @Real_Liam_Payne then 'One Way Or Another' came on, after about 30 seconds the taxi man changed station. Laughing to bad lol. Never laughed so much in my entire life, my chest hurts and I thought I was having a heart attack. It was mad!" (sic)

One Direction covered the track for Comic Relief and it has since gone on to hit number one in the UK charts, but it seems they still have some work to do to capture the lucrative taxi driver market.

It's been an odd few weeks for the pop band. Harry Styles recently revealed that he's a Labour supporter, despite having Tory Prime Minister David Cameron in the video for 'One Way Or Another'. Styles was also (rather hilariously) hit in the groin by a shoe thrown at him from a fan live on stage. Who throws a shoe, seriously?!

Meanwhile, I was at one of One Direction's recent performances in The O2 and you can read my thoughts on that here.
