Now that his new project Beady Eye are out and under public scrutiny, Liam Gallagher has broken his silence about the spit of Oasis, admitting that they couldn't have carried on without Noel. Speaking to Absolute Radio, Liam said "I just wasn't going away quietly, I was being a bit stubborn...making everyone swear a little bit, but we knew that Oasis couldn't carry on if Noel wasn't there. It would be weird playing his songs, it would be weird for the fans, plus it would have been weird for us." Oasis famously split mid-tour in August of 2009 after rumours of pre-gig bickering between Liam and Noel led to the demise of the famous Britpop group.
