Jack Johnson's label, Brushfire, is set to release a tribute album to Nick Drake with Dave Grohl, Norah Jones and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder among the artists to contribute.

The late Heath Ledger is also said to be contributing, in that the release will also include a DVD featuring the full video for Black Eyed Dog, which was both directed and edited by The Dark Knight actor. The video was filmed in 2007 for a multimedia installation about Drake but it was never officially released - probably because its depiction of Ledger drowning in a bathtub might now be seen to be in poor taste.
