Laura Marling has been forced to postpone her Irish dates this week due to illness. The English alt-folk favourite has already had to pull out of her Other Voices appearance at the weekend as well as her Cork show at The Pavilion last night (Dec 5th) and will not be able to play Belfast's Black Box tonight (6th) and Vicar St tomorrow (7th) as scheduled.
The shows will be rescheduled for the New Year so ticketholders are advised to hang onto tickets for the rescheduled dates. However, refunds are available at point of purchase.
This is a double disappointment for Smoke Fairies fans, who were set to support Marling in Vicar St after cancelling their own scheduled show for The Workman's Club.
**Update**
To make up for both their shows being cancelled, Smoke Fairies are now planning on playing a free show at The Workman's Club tomorrow night instead.
