Lana Del Rey surprised everyone when she announced a new album just days after the release of 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club' in March.

The Californian singer told fans that 'Rock Candy Sweet', her eighth studio album, would be released in June.

Now it seems that there has been a change of plan, as the album has been renamed 'Blue Banisters' and will come out in July instead.

As the artwork is the same on both albums, we're assuming that she is not releasing two albums within the space of a month:

It looks like July is going to be a big month for pop releases, as Billie Eilish has also announced that her second album 'Happier Than Ever' will be released on July 30th.

As for what kind of album we can expect from Del Rey's 'Blue Banisters'? If 'Chemtrails...' is anything to go by, we're in for a treat - although she'll probably be eager to avoid the accusations of 'cultural appropriation' that came in the wake of that album.
